We would like to welcome you to The Carmen Guesthouse, the perfect place to stay in Llandudno.
Just a minute’s walk from the prom, you can soon be walking in the fresh sea breeze and listening to the sound of the waves, that we love so much. The location, close to the Little Orme is equally ideal for people wanting to visit the theatre or go exploring, and offers peace and tranquillity at the end of the day. It is an easy walk or taxi ride from the station, close to bus routes as well as there being free parking on the street should you be travelling by car.
There are a number of restaurants and bars in the area, as well as the opportunity for those who want a stroll, to head down the prom to the pier and the bustling parts of town.
We particularly appeal to couples or individuals who enjoy a warm welcome in a traditional Victorian setting, but who expect the comfort and standards of today. Each room is cleaned to a high standard, particularly in today’s current climate, and there is free internet access, a television, drinks tray and ensuite in each of our rooms.
Guests have enjoyed eating our full Welsh breakfast in our comfortable dining room which has set them up for their day, as well as their welcoming drink and Welsh cake on arrival.

The Carmen Guesthouse is at the Craig Y Don end of Llandudno. It is a ten minute walk to the popular Venue Cymru, known widely for its many excellent productions. There is a corner shop and cash point at the end of the road, as well as a number of independent shops which are well worth a browse within a few minutes walk. For those who enjoy a longer shopping experience, the Mostyn Champneys retail park is less than a mile from the Carmen.
As well as walking along the prom with its ‘lido’ type children’s pool and take away cafe bar, Bodofan farm and cafe is a short walk and there is a local park nearby.
There are Chinese, Italian and Greek restaurants amongst others, close at hand, and a micropub and other bars within the vicinity.
The station is approximately a mile away and can be accessed by walking or taxi.

We normally require 2 night bookings but please feel free to contact us if you require a one night stay as we may be able to accommodate your request.
You are able to cancel your booking up to 7 days prior to arrival when booking direct with ourselves. We do not take a deposit from you at this stage but a valid credit card is required to guarantee your booking. If you cancel less than 7 days prior to your booking a payment will be taken for the first night of your booking and for any no shows the full payment will be taken. If you need to change your booking to an alternative date please feel free to contact us as we may be able to accommodate your request.
We do not currently accommodate pets but please feel free to contact us as this is something we may consider in the future and we may be able to accommodate your request.
Our Guesthouse is currently more suited to adult guests but please feel free to contact us if you as we may be able to accommodate your request.
We will welcome you in person on the day of your arrival and you are offered complimentary refreshments.
Departures are by 10am on the day you leave.
Check in is normally between 3pm and 7pm for those who book directly with us but please feel free to contact us if you would prefer an alternative check in time as we may be able to accommodate your request.
